G. Scott Ransom Scholarship

SCHOLARSHIP IS CLOSED

Awards will be finalized November 1

Application period is September 1-October 11

Winter snow sports can be very expensive. The G. Scott Ransom Scholarship was established to help eligible youth athletes defray the team fees associated with training and competition. The program was established in 2005 in honor of the great contributions of long-time Team Duluth Head Coach Scott “Race” Ransom.

Financial need, interest, and commitment to the ski program are considered when awarding this scholarship, which is funded by the earnings of the Scholarship Fund and annual fundraising appeals and is managed for us by the Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation.
