D-Team Training Update

Andy Bishoff

LEAD D-TEAM COACH

Andy grew up skiing for Team Duluth, signed up for Christmas camp at age 6 and started NJRS racing the same year. Andy has participated in NJRS, USSS and FIS with Team Duluth and graduated high school in 2003.  He skied collegiately for Plymouth State New Hampshire.  Andy started coaching full time for Team Duluth in 2008.  He has his USSS L-100 coaching certificate, referee, and chief of race license.  He has successfully coached all levels from d-team to FIS.  He has been coaching full time for the d-team in 2018.

--USSS U14 and up:  Two - 2 run GS races on Saturday and two-2 run SL races on Sunday. $50 registration fee per day on skireg.  Must also sign up for USSS try it if you don't have a USSS license.

--USSS U12 and under:  3 GS races Saturday and 3 SL runs on Sunday.  $20 registration fee perday on skireg.  Must also sign up for USSS try it if you don't have a USSS license.

**USSS try it program - Sign up on https://usskiandsnowboard.org/membership/new-member-registration - Short-Term Alpine (17 & under) - $35 per day (Does not include access to U.S. Ski & Snowboard points list): May be used for one event per season. Event may not span more than 5 consecutive days. $35 a day fee.  Register at skireg.com 

 

  • -SAT, March 16th  SPIRIT MTN LAST DAY  *Team Room may be open-we will post hours.  Freeski - Spirit SPLASH event.   **Spirit Mtn will host the Spirit Mountain Annual Spring Happening (SMASH). Kiddie carnival, silly slalom, park jam, costume contest, and the annual slosh pit pond skip! Come in and wear a costume all day to receive a special $25 rate for a lift ticket (must be purchased online). Sign-up for this event will be available online on Wednesday of this week.

Remember, you will not be allowed to get on the lift if you do not have your physical pass with you. Make sure you always have your season pass with you every time you come to ride. No exceptions.
